Eileen Dellinger, 85 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 12:35 a.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2007 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Indiana. Eileen was born on Thursday, June 8, 1922 in Van Wert County, Ohio, the daughter of the late William Hoblet and the late Ada (Jewell) Hoblet. She married the late Max E. Dellinger on May 25, 1946 in Rockford, Ohio and he passed away on April 16, 1989. She was a member of Decatur Church of God. She was Eileen helped operate, along with her husband Max, Dellinger Garage for 30 years, retiring in 1976. Surviving are her son, Dennis G. (Barbara) Dellinger of Sidney, Ohio, and grandson, Graham Dennis Dellinger of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Preceding Eileen in death were three brothers, Vernon, Orville, Norman Hoblet; and one sister, Cecile Wright. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Sandy Hildebrand officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery, Willshire, Ohio. Friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2007 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Decatur Church of God.
