Sandy J. Franz, 41 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2006 at her residence, having battled with cancer for 3 years. Sandy was born on September 25, 1964 in Wabash, Indiana the daughter of Maurice R. Ogden and Darlene (Haecker) Ogden, both of whom survive. She married Kent R. Franz on March 2, 1991 in the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling, and he survives. Sandy was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling. Sandy was a graduate of Manchester High School Class of 1983. Sandy was employed as an Advertising Representative at Do-It-Best Corporation in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for 15 years. Surviving are her Husband, Kent R. Franz of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Derek O. Franz, at home; daughter, Jordyn K. Franz at home; parents, Maurice & Darlene Ogden of Roann, Indiana, brother, Ron & (Lora) Ogden of Roann, Indiana, brother, Dennis Ogden of Roann, Indiana, sister, Cindy (Dennis) Minnix of Roann, Indiana, sister, Julie Ogden of Roann, Indiana, and sister, Cheryl (Rick) Schooley of Warsaw, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 in the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling, rural Decatur, Indiana, with the Rev. Martin Moehring officiating. Interment will follow in the St Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana; and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Preferred memorials are to AGAPE Respite Care; Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Ft. Wayne; St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling.
