Pauline I. Moses, 94 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Woodcrest Nursing Center. She was born on Wednesday, November 7, 1917 in Iowa the daughter of the late Glen Roughia and the late Edna (Mullen) Roughia. She married James C. Moses on February 23, 1933 and he passed away on June 24, 2007. Pauline was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Indiana and was the longest living member of the Root Township Home Economics Club. She was a homemaker and had worked as a nurse's aide at Adams Memorial Hospital in the birthing unit. Surviving are her son, Larry G. (Sidney) Moses of Fort Wayne; sister, Geraldine Sprunger of Decatur; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. Preceding Pauline in death were a son, James K. Moses; two grandchildren, Christopher Moses & Tony Moses; two brothers, Arnold Roughia & Leonard Roughia; and a sister, Dorothy Markle. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Marcia Cline officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, August 19 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to First Presbyterian Church in Decatur.
