William W. "Bill" Busick

William W. "Bill" Busick, 70 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 in Parkview Hospital located in Fort Wayne. His death was unexpected following a brief illness. He was born on Tuesday, October 11, 1938 in Allen County, Indiana the son of the late Edwin A. Busick and the late Florence M. (Scherschel) Busick. He married Marsha Lehman on June 28, 1985 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. William served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Monroeville American Legion Post #420 and the U.A.W. Local 57 of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He retired in 1988 from International Harvester after 30 years of service in the shipping department. He was also a self-employed carpenter in the Monroeville area and a part-time farmer. Surviving are his wife, Marsha Busick of Monroeville, son, Dallas Busick of Fort Wayne, daughter, Billie Robin (Eric) Patarak of Lompoc, California, sister, Marjorie Wagner of Cloverdale, Ohio, sister, Shirley (Edwin) Rosswurm of Albion, Indiana, sister, Rose (Robert) Grubb of Kendallville, Indiana, granddaughter, Amanda Haupt and grandson, Christopher Haupt both of Lompoc, California. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Pastor Ed Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. The Monroeville American Legion Post #420 will conduct military graveside services. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 7 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Monroeville EMS.
