Donna Belle Gleckler, 83 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Miller's Merry Manor located in Fort Wayne. She was born on Sunday, August 2, 1925 in Monroeville, Indiana the daughter of the late Fred Dager and the late Mary Ann (Carpenter) Dager. She married Ramond D. Gleckler on April 25, 1943 in Monroeville and he passed away on February 14, 2007. Donna was a graduate of Ravenscroft Beauty College and had retired in 1978 as a beautician. She was also a homemaker and a former manager of Chalet City Mobile Home Court in Crowley, Texas. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Crowley, Texas. Surviving are her daughter, Saralyn S. Porter of Monroeville, son, Ronald L. (Rhonda) Gleckler of Monroeville, son Douglas D. (Karen) Gleckler of Rio Vista, Texas, brother Walter E. Dager of Convoy, Ohio, brother, Deloss J. Dager of Fort Wayne, eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Preceding Donna in death were one daughter, Linda Hart, three brothers; Leslie, Delmar & Wesley Dager and four sisters; Marie Barkley, Laura Lortie, Carol DeWert & Olive Gerardot. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2009 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Monroeville Volunteer Fire Department or Monroeville Memorial Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
