Norman E. "Butch" Williamson, 61 years old of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in the Van Wert County Hospital located in Van Wert, Ohio. He had been in failing health, but the death was unexpected. He was born on Sunday, September 30, 1945 in Decatur, Indiana the son of Earl "Dutch" Williamson and the late Helen (Brown) Williamson. He married Donna Jean Bates on January 15, 1966 in Willshire, Ohio. Butch was a 1963 graduate of Pleasant Mills High School and had retired as a forklift operator from Phelps Dodge. He belonged to the Willshire Sportsman Club and the Sons of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Donna Jean Williamson of Willshire, Ohio, father, Earl "Dutch" Williamson of Decatur, Indiana, son, Chad (Gretchen) Williamson of Convoy, Ohio, daughter, Cara Smith of Willshire, Ohio, son, Cale (Tara) Williamson of Willshire, Ohio, son, Cody (Bridget)Williamson of Van Wert, Ohio, brother, Gene (Helen) Williamson of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Jerry (Judy) Williamson of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Mrs. Tom (Cheryll) Eyanson of Decatur, Indiana, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Rev. Dick Sprunger and Rev. Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
