Carolyn Ann Carver, 60 years old of Monroe, Indiana passed away at 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2009 in the Colonial Nursing Center located in Rockford, Ohio where she had been since 2001. Carolyn was born on Monday, May 17, 1948 in Decatur, Indiana the daughter of Clair and Marjorie (Graham) Carver and they survive. Carolyn was a member of the Salem Community Church in Salem, Indiana; she attended Adams Central School; was a beautiful singer and also played the piano. Surviving are her parents, Clair and Marjorie Carver of Monroe, Indiana, sister, Barbara L. Carver of New Haven, Indiana, brother, David C. (Lois) Carver of Valparaiso, Indiana, nephew, Joshua Carver of North Hollywood, California, niece, Cara (E.J.) Olson of Indianapolis, Indiana, and great-niece, Lila Christine Olson of Indianapolis, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor James Compton officiating. Interment will follow in the Tricker Cemetery, rural Monroe, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Celina Area Visiting Nurses & Hospice; Salem Community Church; National Alliance on Mental Illness; or the National Foundation for Cancer Research.
