Robert G. Nave, 55 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at his residence. Robert was born on Thursday, September 25, 1952 in Huntington County, Indiana, the son of the late Robert A. Nave and the late Martha (Graham) Nave. He married Roberta "Bobbie" Harter on December 4, 1993 in Decatur, Indiana and she survives. Robert was employed with ADT Security Systems as a Senior Service Technician for 23 years. He received his Associates Degree from the University of Louisville in 1973 and was also a Ham Radio Operator. Surviving are his wife, Roberta "Bobbie" Nave of Decatur, Indiana, son, Shawn (Stacey) Nave of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Kelly Nave of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Holly (companion Travis Brownlow) Nave of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Tammy Bodle of Decatur, Indiana, son, Troy Abell of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Mrs. Frank (Debbie) Bowman of Huntington, Indiana, brother, Barry Nave of Huntington, Indiana, sister, Mrs. Randy (Tami) Oden of Midlothian, Virginia, sister, Mrs. John (Teresa) Vining of Ohio City, Ohio, and eleven grandchildren. Preceding Robert in death was one brother, Alan Nave. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2008 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Deselm officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Indiana. Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and from 12:00 NOON - 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to A.C.C.F. Heart Fund; A.C.C.F. Cancer Fund; or A.C.C.F. Diabetes Fund.
