Diana Lynn Alderman, 64 years old of Berne, Indiana, passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010 in the Chalet Village located in Berne. Diana was born on Monday, October 1, 1945 in Garrett, Indiana the daughter of the late Tom Kizer and Elaine J. (Lewis) Kizer. She married David Ross Alderman on April 3, 1993 in Decatur, Indiana. Diana was a graduate of Garrett High School in Garrett, Indiana and was a homemaker. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, reading, writing, scrapbooking, music, traveling, and playing with her grandkids. Surviving are her husband, David Ross Alderman of Berne, daughter, Lara (David) Frame of Valdosta, Georgia, son, Damon (Julie) Kleinknight of Decatur, mother, Elaine Kizer of Garrett and five grandchildren; Amber & Cody Frame and Jade, Blake, & Trae Kleinknight. Preceding Diana in death were her father, Tom Kizer; and sister, Cheri Ann Kizer. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana with Pastor Roger Bixler officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the Chalet Village Activity Fund.
