Mardella Mardy Reinhart, 77, of Decatur, Indiana, died at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Woodcrest Nursing Center where she had resided for three months. Mardy was born on January 27, 1930 in Adams County, Indiana to Gustav Schueler and Matilda (Fackler) Schueler who are both deceased. Mardy met Ted L. Reinhart and they were united in marriage on December 16, 1950 in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble. Mardy was employed as an Office Manager for Universal Metalcraft for many years. She was also a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble. Mardy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ted L. Reinhart of Decatur, Indiana; a daughter, Karen (Richard) Fisher of rural Decatur, Indiana; two sons: Thomas (Beth) Reinhart of rural Decatur, Indiana and Gerald (Deborah) Reinhart of rural Decatur, Indiana; two sisters: Ruth Schamerloh of rural Decatur, Indiana and Lorine Cress of Decatur, Indiana; two brothers: Halden Schueler of Convoy, Ohio and Kenneth Schueler of rural Decatur, Indiana; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Schueler. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007 in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble with Pastor Daniel Brege officiating. Burial will follow the services in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2007 in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble Parish Hall and one hour prior to services Friday in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble.
