Edna Holle - McDougal, 94 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 7:06 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2009 in the Adams Memorial Hospital. Edna was born on Tuesday, July 7, 1914 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Otto Holle and the late Adele (Schamerloh) Holle. She married the late Raymond McDougal on August 31, 1935 and he passed away on December 18, 1996. Edna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Decatur. She also belonged to the Missionary Society of the church. Edna was employed by the Habegger & Schaffer Company for eight years, and was also an Avon Sales Representative for over 5 years. Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Ann McDougal of Decatur, Indiana; son-in-law, Jim Moses of Marion, Indiana; sister, Leona Brian-Holle of Stillwater, Minnesota; brother, Paul Holle of Shrewburg, Massachusetts; sister-in-law, A. Jo Holle of Decatur, Indiana; seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Edna in death were one daughter, Carolyn Ann Moses; one son, Frederick R. McDougal; two grandsons: Chris and Tony Moses; one great-granddaughter, Brittany Hutchison; and two brothers, Truman Holle and Walter Holle (April 13, 2005). Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 in the Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Phil Phifer officiating. Interment will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Union Township, rural Decatur, Indiana. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church.
