Mark A. Brueggeman, 23 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009 in the Ball Memorial Hospital located in Muncie, Indiana. His death was unexpected following complications from a seizure. He was born on Tuesday, May 27, 1986 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of Paul T. Brueggeman and Rita M. (Giant) Brueggeman. He was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church in New Haven, Indiana. Mark was a senior at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where he was active in lacrosse. He graduated from Bishop Luers High School in 2005 where he was active in lacrosse, wrestling and football. He was an avid Chicago Bears and White Sox fan. Surviving are his parents, Paul T. & Rita M. (Giant) Brueggeman of Monroeville, sister, Wendy A. (Barry)McDonald of Chicago, Illinois, brother, Brian P. (Kristina) Brueggeman of Fort Wayne, brother, Adam D. Brueggeman of Indianapolis, sister, Katie L. Brueggeman of Monroeville, niece, Adelyn Rose Brueggeman of Fort Wayne, grandmother, Patricia A. (Beebe) Brueggeman of Fort Wayne, three uncles; Dr. Donald (Lynn) Giant of Fort Wayne, John (Laurie) Giant of Monroeville & Rex (Lisa) Brueggeman of Indianapolis, three aunts; Mary Giant of New Haven, Rosie (Dave) Oberley of Monroeville & Jill (John) Nicholas of Fort Wayne and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Randolph & Pauline Giant and Jack Brueggeman. There will be a Prayer Service at 9:15 a.m. in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in the St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Colchin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Besancon Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 6 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. A Rosary will be held at 8:00 p.m. following visitation in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Masses, St. Louis Academy or St. Louis Building Fund.
