Sherian K. Zeser, 66 years old of Preble, Indiana, passed away at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2006 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Indiana. Sherian was born on Friday, June 30, 1939 in Adams County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Louie C. Drake and the late Orie H. (Richards) Drake. She married Robert D. Zeser on February 9, 1956 in Decatur, Indiana and he survives. Sherian was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Decatur, Indiana. Sherian retired in 1998 from Tokheim Corporation Credit Union with 10 years of service. Surviving are her husband, Robert D. Zeser of Preble, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Kent (Donna A.) Klopfleisch of Decatur, Indiana, son, Tim D. (Diane) Zeser of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Mark (Vickie A.) Harvey of Decatur, Indiana, son, Terry L. (Diane) Zeser of Decatur, Indiana, son, Brian C. (Cindy) Zeser of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Max E. (Virginia) Drake of Berne, Indiana, sister, Mrs. Betty K. Knittle of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Mrs. Shirley A. Schnepp of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Don L. Drake of rural Decatur, Indiana, fourteen grandchildren: Daniel Mahlan, Joseph (Sarah) Mahlan, Jennifer Zeser, Jonathon Zeser, Melissa Harvey, Brittany Harvey, David Harvey, Nicholas Zeser, Dana Zeser, Robb Kohne, Justin "Butter" Shaffer, Molly Zeser, Spencer Zeser, Parker Zeser; and one great grandson, Mason Scott Mahlan. Sherian was preceded in death by one brother, John Z. Drake and one grandson, Corey Shaffer. A 9:20 a.m. Prayer Service will be held Friday, January 20, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Dave Voors officiating. Interment will follow in the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the Adams County Heart Club.
