Miguel Zamora, 92 years old of Craigville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2006 in Adams Memorial Hospital Extended Care Unit, Decatur, Indiana. He was born on Monday, September 29, 1913 in Mexico to the late Rosendo Zamora and the late Josefa (Sanchez) Zamora. His first wife was Benilde (Guerra) Zamora, who died in 1978. His second wife was Bessie (Guzman) Zamora and she survives. Miguel was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, Decatur, Indiana. He was employed by Krick & Tyndall Tile Mill and then worked at Decatur Industries. Other survivors include his daughter, Amalia "Molly" Zamora of Decatur, Indiana, son, Michael Zamora of Decatur, Indiana, son, Fred Zamora of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Jim (Amelia) Guttierez of Marion, Indiana, sister, Mary Zamora of McAllen, Texas, sister, Josie Galvan of McAllen, Texas, sister, Santos Rodriguez of McAllen, Texas, brother, Francisco Zamora of McAllen, Texas, brother, Pablo Zamora of McAllen, Texas, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Preceding Miguel in death were one sister, Louisa Zamora and three children in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur with Father Dave Voors officiating. Interment will follow in the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 22 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. There will be a rosary service following visitation at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the Adams County Diabetes Connection.
