Lora R. Martin, 45 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2007 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Indiana. Lora was born on May 12, 1962 in Willshire, Ohio the daughter of the late John Nichols and Norma (Carpenter) Nichols, who survives. She married Marty L. Martin on September 18, 1987 and he survives. Lora was a member of Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene. Lora was employed by South Adams High School in the janitorial service. Surviving are her husband, Marty L. Martin of Decatur, Indiana, son, Jesse L. (Sara) Martin of Monroe, Indiana, mother, Norma Nichols of Rockford, Ohio, sister, Mrs. Robert (Lillian) Denney of Rockford, Ohio, sister, Mrs. John (Rita) Huey of Mendon, Ohio, brother, John (Patty) Nichols of Rockford, Ohio, sister, Mrs. Dale (Jeanie) Smith of Rockford, Ohio, brother, Les (Cheryl) Nichols of Celina, Ohio, 3 grandchildren: Ayden and Zayden Martin and Breckin Boroff, all from Monroe, Indiana. Preceding Lora in death was one brother, Kenny Nichols. Private Family Funeral services will be held in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, rural Decatur, Indiana. There will be private family visitation. Preferred memorials are to the family or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Any memorials along with flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
