Imogene E. Grabner, 84 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center located in Fort Wayne. She had been in failing health for a few years. She was born on Wednesday, June 13, 1928 in Allen County, Indiana the daughter of the late Homer J. Clay and the late Ida C. (McBride) Clay. She married Lindy L. Grabner on August 9, 1947. They celebrated sixty-four years of marriage this past August. Imogene was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Lindy L. Grabner of Monroeville; daughter, Patricia L. (Louie) Meyer of Monroeville; son, Randy L. (Linda) Grabner of South Haven, Michigan; daughter, Jill L. (Sheldon) Lucier of Winnipeg, Canada; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Preceding Imogene in death were two brothers; Dick & Milo Clay, and four sisters; Charlotte Roussey, Catherine Ruble, Lela Skiles, & Genelda Norris. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating. There will be no visitation.
