Fred A. Miller, 68 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 in the Hospice Home of Ft. Wayne. Fred was born on January 17, 1938 in Adams County, Indiana, the son of the late Robert W. Miller and the late Margaret (Myers) Miller. He married Agnes J. Barlett on July 23, 1960 and she survives. Fred was a member of American Legion Post #43. Fred served his country in the United States Army Reserves. Fred was the fourth generation on their farm. He also worked 34 ½ years at the General Electric Plant in Decatur, Indiana as an electrician and was one of the last 5 people to close the General Electric plant. Surviving are his wife, Agnes J. Miller of Decatur, Indiana, son, Alan Miller of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Colleen (Andy) Fuller of Linden, Indiana, son, Robert (Page) Miller of Zionsville, Indiana, two granddaughters, one grandson, and one step-granddaughter. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Decatur Cemetery with the Rev. Fuhrman Miller officiating. Preferred memorials are to Hospice Home of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; or the United Methodist Women's Missions.
