Mary (Millington) Pratt, 87 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011 in Woodcrest Nursing Center. She was born on Friday, August 17, 1923 in Onedago, Michigan the daughter of the late Levi H. Hill and the late Gladys E. (Spade) Hill. She married George W. Millington on December 23, 1939 in Decatur and he passed away on January 29, 1967. On December 30, 1975, she married Walter E. Pratt in Hillsboro, Michigan and he passed away on October 23, 1998. Mary attended the Cornerstone Church, formerly known as Decatur Missionary Church. She was a homemaker and had worked at Schaefer's Glove Factory. She also worked twenty years with the Adams Wells Association for the Retarded & Handicapped. Mary enjoyed fishing, gardening, and eating out. She loved her grandchildren and her dog, Raggs; who is now deceased. Surviving are her son, Gary W. (Linda) Millington of Churubusco, step-daughter, Edna Marie (James) Kitzmiller of New Haven, grandson, George (Sandy) LaTurner of Decatur, granddaughter, Kathryn (Bob) Mathews of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, granddaughter, Sharon (Tim) Bombka of Decatur, granddaughter, Cheryl (Steve) Thompson of Huntington, granddaughter, Carolyn (Tony) Corral of Decatur, granddaughter, Teresa LaTurner of Decatur, grandson, Scott (Cyndee) Millington of Decatur, sister, Bertha Smith of Bluffton, twenty-one great-grandchildren and numerous great great-grandchildren. Preceding Mary in death were two brothers, Edward P. Hill & Thomas Hill; two sisters, Martha J. Hill & Dorothy Dishong, a stepson, Joe LaTurner and a stepdaughter-in-law, Luella LaTurner. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Beall officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service on Monday in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Cornerstone Church.
