Donna I. Hileman, 74 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in the Woodcrest Nursing Center. She had been in failing health for the past four months. She was born on Saturday, February 16, 1935 in Blackford County, Indiana the daughter of the late Walter Waltz and the late Sarah (Willman) Waltz. She married Richard E. "Dick" Hileman on June 24, 1962 in Zion Lutheran Church in Hartford City, Indiana. Donna was a nurse's aid for thirteen years at Adams County Hospital. She also had worked at Colonial Bakery, Kroger and since 1995 with Heller Nursery. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim in Decatur and was Key Lady at the Lutheran Home. She enjoyed making pies for the Adams County 4-H Fair and Poe Days every year and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are her husband, Dick Hileman of Decatur, sister, Virginia Waltz of Hartford City, sister, Audrey (Jim) Hoelle of Fort Wayne, sister, Kathryn (Jesse) Rogers of Montpelier, Indiana and several nieces & nephews. A prayer service will be held at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home follow by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Friedheim with Rev. Daniel Dahling officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Friedheim. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 10 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim, Wyneken Lutheran School or Worship for Shut-Ins.
