Shaun Izaac Hammond, newborn son of Mason C. Hammond and Alexandria R. Pharr, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in the University Hospital, Inc. located in Cincinnati, Ohio. His death occured shortly after birth. Surviving are his parents, Mason Hammond & Lexy Pharr both of Decatur, paternal grandfather, Steven Hammond of Decatur, paternal grandmother, Cassie Hammond of Decatur, maternal grandfather, Anthony Pharr of Decatur, maternal grandmother & step-grandfather, Scott & Kristine (O'Campo) Smedley of Decatur, paternal great-grandparents, Robert & Phyllis Weiland of Fort Wayne, maternal great-grandfather & step-great grandmother, Derryle & Neva Pharr of Berne, maternal great-grandmother & step-great grandfather, Terry & Martha Hammons of Decatur, maternal great-grandmother, Alice O'Campo of Decatur, maternal great great-grandfather, Howard Pharr of Linn Grove and maternal great great-grandmother, Marge Brewster of Linn Grove. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday, January 6 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home. Preferred memorials are to to the family.
