Arline Joyce Willis, 89 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Indiana. Arline was born on Friday, November 19, 1920 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of the late Herman S. Preston and the late Cora K. (Wynn) Preston. She married the late George W. Willis on June 6, 1938 in Burlington, Iowa and he passed away on May 10, 1994. Arline was a homemaker. Surviving are her son, David C. (Tressa) Willis of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Robert (Judy) Preston of East Peoria; Illinois, granddaughter, Elizabeth (Jeff) Adams of Decatur, Indiana; great-granddaughter, Taya Adams of Decatur, Indiana; great-granddaughter, Brielle Adams of Decatur, Indiana; great-grandson, Liam Adams of Decatur, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Adams County Community Foundation-Cancer Fund.
