Morris D. Brodbeck, 77 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2006 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur. Morris was born on August 2, 1928 in Adams County, Indiana, the son of the late Rufford L. Brodbeck and the late Evelyn (Burke) Brodbeck. He married the late Mary Catherine Gerber on August 30, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio and she passed away on August 6, 1991. He was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Decatur, Indiana. Morris retired on June 30, 1976 from International Harvester after 30 years of service. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. J. D. (Catherine) Helms of Lubbock, Texas, son, Jonathan D. Brodbeck of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, son, Timothy M. Brodbeck of Lubbock, Texas, son, Kenneth A. Brodbeck of LaFontaine, Indiana, brother, Lawrence E. Brodbeck of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, brother, Mark Brodbeck of Decatur, Indiana, granddaughter, Cammie Kline of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, grandson, Justin Brodbeck of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, grandson, Jay Brodbeck of Lubbock, Texas, granddaughter, Ashleigh Brodbeck of Lubbock, Texas, granddaughter, Danielle Brodbeck of Lubbock, Texas, and granddaughter, Kassidy Brodbeck of Lubbock, Texas. Preceding Morris in death were one daughter, Jill Elaine LaLone, one grandson, Derrick Brodbeck, and one son, Phillip M. Brodbeck. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses at 6000 Abbott St. in Fort Wayne, Indiana with Elder Mark Schabow officiating. Friends will be received from 2:00 "3:00 p.m. Saturday in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. Preferred memorials are to Kingdom Hall Building Fund.
