Marcile Trisel, 96 years old, of Decatur, Indiana passed away at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008 in the Woodcrest Nursing Center in Decatur, Indiana. Marcile was born on June 21, 1911 in Van Wert County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Claude Harner and the late Mary V. (Johnson) Harner. She married Leo Trisel on September 30, 1927 in New Port, Kentucky. Marcile was a homemaker and retired from General Electric with 25 years of service. She was a member of the Willshire United Methodist Church in Willshire, Ohio and the U.M.C.S. of the church. Marcile was also involved with the General Electric retired ladies. Marcile is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Gloria) Giessler of Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Mrs. Jim (Marlene) Habegger of Decatur, Indiana; son, Dennis D. Trisel of Willshire, Ohio; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; twenty step-great-grandchildren; and five step-great-great-grandchildren. Marcile was preceded in death by one grandson, Brett Giessler; one brother, F.R. Harner; one great-granddaughter, Erika Che Ripley; and four step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana with Rev. Nat Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery, Willshire. Ohio. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in the Woodcrest Chapel and from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the Amercian Cancer Society.
