Kenneth D. Chrisman, 74 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 3:53 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the Parkview Regional Hospital located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ken was born on Wednesday, December 1, 1937 in Geneva, Indiana the son of the late Charles Chrisman and the late Florence (Minger) Chrisman. He married R. Sharon Chrisman on September 18, 1956 and she survives. Ken served his country in the United States Army. Ken was a member of the American Legion Post #420 in Monroeville; and the United Rubber Workers Union #715. Ken was employed at B.F. Goodrich in Woodburn, Indiana for 28 years, retiring in 1992. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Chrisman of Monroeville, Indiana; son, Mark (Beth) Chrisman of Butler, Indiana; son, Matt (Deb) Chrisman of Leo-Cedarville, Indiana; son, Monte (Kristi) Chrisman of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Kendra Brown of Berne, Indiana; brother, Ivan (Ramona) Chrisman of Rockford, Ohio; brother, Douglas (Rose) Chrisman of Gig Harbor, Washington; brother, Jeff Chrisman of Decatur, Indiana; nine grandchildren: Jennifer Chrisman, Zachary Chrisman, Justin Biggs, Ethan Chrisman, Tyler Chrisman, Brandon Biggs, Mckenna Biggs, Travis Chrisman, and Toby Chrisman; and two great-grandchildren: Riley Chrisman and Taylen Taritas. Preceding Ken in death was one brother, Larry Chrisman. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Pastor Ralph Klinker officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #420 Color Guard following the services. Memorial Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Cornerstone Youth Center in Monroeville.
