Justin S. Dabney, 44 of New Albany, Indiana, a former resident of Monroeville for most of his life, died at 3:50 a.m. Friday in the Floyd Memorial Hospital, New Albany, Indiana following an illness of one week. Justin was born on October 29, 1961, in Allen County, Indiana to Allan A. and Beverly J. (Grotrian) Dabney who both survive. He was united in marriage to Lisa G. Mansfield on April 23, 1999 in Fort Wayne who also survives. Justin had worked as a self-employed contractor and was a graduate of the Heritage High School Class of 1980. Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are one son: Cody, two stepdaughters: Sarah and Jessica, one sister: Mrs. Jeff (Dineale) Cross, of Noblesville, Indiana and two nieces: Audrey and Jennifer. Private Services will be held Tuesday in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville with Father Stephen Colchin officiating. There will be no visitation. Preferred Memorials are to the family in care of Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville.
