Marjorie N. (Paris) (Edyvean) Mellott

Marjorie N. (Paris) (Edyvean) Mellott, 90 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in the Village of Heritage. She was born on Wednesday, July 20, 1921 in Claremont, New Hampshire the daughter of the late Paul Storer and the late Alice (Rogers) Storer. She was married to George P. Paris and he passed away in 1979. Her second husband was John Edyvean who passed away in 1994. Gerald Mellott, her third husband, passed away in 2004. Marjorie was a member of Our Hope Lutheran Church in Huntertown. She worked for Fort Wayne Community Schools as a secretary-treasurer for twenty years, retiring in 1982. Surviving are her son, George F. "Tim" (Patricia) Paris of Rochester, son, William H. (Joan) Paris of Monroeville, son, John M. "Mick" (Jacqueline Sue) Paris of Stevensville, Michigan, son, David A. (Judy) Paris of Wolcottville, step-son, W. David Edyvean of Huntertown, step-son, James D. Edyvean of Fort Wayne, brother, Howard R. Storer of Waukesha, Wisconsin, brother, William E. Storer of Grandby, Connecticut, brother, John P. Storer of Long Beach, California, brother, Arthur E. Storer of Fort Wayne, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindenwood Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 26 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville. Preferred memorials are to Village of Heritage Activities Fund.
