Kenneth D. Reinking, 44 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2011 at his residence. Kenneth was born on Friday, March 18, 1966 in Decatur, Indiana the son of the late Donald C. Reinking and Lorene E. (Bohnke) Reinking (whom survives). Kenneth was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble; Alcoholics Anonymous for 17 years; and a 1985 graduate of Bellmont High School. Kenneth was employed at Pretzels Inc. in Bluffton, Indiana until his illness prevented him from working; former employee of Strick Trailer Corp. in Monroe, Indiana; former employee of Zollner Piston in Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and former employee with his family in the operation of Reinking's Garage in Decatur, Indiana. Surviving are his mother, Lorene Reinking of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Mary Reinking of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Deborah (Sam) Schultz of Decatur, Indiana; Brother, David (Cheryl) Reinking of Decatur, Indiana; and brother, Mark Reinking of Decatur, Indiana. Preceding Kenneth in death were his father, Donald C. Reinking; and one sister, Melissa Reinking. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble with Rev. Dr. Daniel J. Brege officiating. Interment will follow in the St Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Preble. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Preferred memorials are to the family.
