Beverly A. Fritzinger, 60 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009 in the Parkview North Hospital located in Fort Wayne. Her death was unexpected. She was born on Thursday, December 30, 1948 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the daughter of the late Frederick W. Johnston and the late Virginia H. (Barr) Johnston. She married Robert L. Fritzinger on June 26, 1981 in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Monroeville. Beverly was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she had been the custodian at the church for over ten years. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1967. Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Fritzinger of Monroeville, son, James L. (Rose) Fritzinger of Monroeville, daughter, Wendy A. (Donavon) Jackson of Fort Wayne, son, Eric J. Blowers of Ossian, sister, Shirley (Michael) Scheuerman of Fishers, Indiana, brother, John (Millicent) Johnston of Yoder, Indiana, sister, Mary E. Mabee, Utah, brother, James E. (Shurma) Johnston of Spencerville, Indiana and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in the St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 3 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana and from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Monroeville EMS.
