Kevin R. Franz, 44 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, September 18, 1962 in Adams County, Indiana the son of the late Walter Franz and the late Helen (Stull) Franz. Kevin was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling. He was previously employed at Techo Truck Builders of Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was in quality control. He had also worked as an electrical lineman. Surviving are his daughter, Lindsey Franz of Fort Wayne, Indiana, son, Travis Franz of Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Katy Franz of Fort Wayne, Indiana, brother, Kurt Franz of Decatur, Indiana, grandchild, Gillian Franz of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Preceding Kevin in death was one son, Benjamin Franz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur with Rev. Martin Moehring officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Fuelling. Friends will be received from noon to 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 29 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling or to the family.
