Merrill Fred Brudi, 87 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away at 4:55 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2006 in the Village of Heritage located in Monroeville, Indiana. Fred born on October 18, 1918, in Portland, Indiana, the son of the late Merrill S. Manes and the late Olive (Barr) Manes. He married the late Lois Jane Brudi on May 18, 1941 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and she passed away on April 13, 1993. Fred served his country during World War II in the United State Navy. Fred retired in 1982 from American Hoist & Derrick Company in Fort Wayne, Indiana after 42 years of service. Surviving are his son, Victor M. (Kay) Brudi of Hoagland, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Leo (Rebecca J.) Sands of Huntington, Indiana, and two grandchildren. There is no funeral or visitation. A private burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
