Lois Eileen Suman, 77 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2007 in the Woodcrest Nursing Center following an extended illness. She was born on Saturday, June 29, 1929 in Willshire, Ohio the daughter of the late Oscar E. Miller and the late Hela May (Slusser) Miller. She married Gordon C. Suman on March 28, 1947 in Willshire, Ohio. Lois was a member of Praise Point United Brethren Church in Willshire, Ohio. She was a homemaker and had worked at CTS in Berne, Indiana for 12 years. Surviving are her husband, Gordon C. Suman of Decatur, Indiana, son, Dave (Beth) Suman of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Fred (Vicki) Bollenbacher of Rockford, Ohio, daughter, Mrs. Richard (Jayne) Ridenour of Pennville, Indiana, son, Bill Suman of Pennville, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Mark (Sue) Bellante of Pennville, Indiana, sister, Louise Brown of Willshire, Ohio, brother, Jay Miller of Lima, Ohio, brother, Robert Miller of Willshire, Ohio, 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceding Lois in death were three sisters, Inola Alspaugh, Mildred Kelsey & Margaret August, four brothers, Hilton, Bill, Paul & Jimmy Lee Miller and one grandchild, Mikel Suman. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the Praise Point Church in Willshire, Ohio with Rev. Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in the Willshire Cemetery, Willshire, Ohio. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Preferred memorials are to the Praise Point United Brethren Church, Adams County Home Health, or Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana.
