Jordan D. Sloffer, 21 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, February 25, 1987 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of Arthur & Deena (Boggs) Sloffer. Jordan was a C.N.C operator at Bluffton Motor Works, where he had been employed for the past year and a half. He was a loved son and brother and enjoyed spending time playing his guitar. Surviving are his parents, Arthur & Deena Sloffer of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Tyler R. Sloffer of Decatur, Indiana and maternal grandparents, Ray & Betty Boggs of Churubusco, Indiana. Preceding Jordan in death were his paternal grandparents, Everett & Dorothy Sloffer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Teen Challenge.
