Florine O. Kelley, 94 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, March 29, 1916 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late M. Carl Gaskill and the late Goldie (Garner) Gaskill. She married Harold "Buzz" Kelley on November 9, 1935 in Allen County, Indiana and he passed away on August 8, 1994. Florine was a member of the Pleasant Mills Baptist Church, the Jolly Homemakers Club and the G.C. Murphy Girls Club. She had worked at G. C. Murphy Company for thirteen years. Surviving are her son, Wendel H. (Hanne) Kelley of Decatur, son, Jerry A. (Lucy) Kelley of Decatur, son, Ron L. (Beverly Reed) Kelley of Decatur, twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Preceding Florine in death were one son, Robert E. Kelley; two brothers; Robert Gaskill & Jerome Gaskill, and one sister, Helen Gaskill. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2010 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Sprunger officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Pleasant Mills Baptist Church or Family Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeast Indiana.
