Dorothy was born on Thursday, September 30, 1937 in Willshire, Ohio the daughter of the late James R. Hamrick and the late Ardella (Kallenberger) Hamrick. in . Dorothy was homemaker. Surviving are her daughter, Tangela Scherbring of Decatur, Indiana; daughter, Tina Brickley of Garrett, Indiana; son, Bryce Brickley of Keystone, Indiana; son, Joe Brickley of Bluffton, Indiana; son, Jay Brickley of Bluffton, Indiana; daughter, Darlene (Duane) Flick of Bluffton, Indiana; daughter, Doris Brickley, of Illinois; daughter, Pricella Phillips of Glendale, Arizona; brother, Kenneth Hamrick of Dallas, Texas; brother, Herbert Hamrick of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Chester Hamrick of Van Wert, Ohio; brother, Murl Hamrick of Berne, Indiana; brother, Murlin Hamrick, of Tennessee; sister, Wilma (Jack) Wilson of Angola, Indiana; sister, Geraldine (Gerald) Everett of Decatur, Indiana; nineteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Preceding Dorothy in death were a son, Kenny Brickley; a daughter, Penny Fraughier; and a brother, Frederick Hamrick. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. There will be no funeral service. Preferred memorials are to the family.
