Beulah O. Faulstick, 85 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in the Village of Heritage. She was born on Thursday, October 18, 1923 in Allen County, Indiana the daughter of Cecil L. and Pearl (Evans) Johns. She married Charles Faulstick on January 31, 1948 in Monroeville United Methodist Church and he passed away on April 19, 2006. Beulah was a member of Monroeville United Methodist Church, Home Ec. Teachers Club and the Retired Teachers Association. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, traveling and watching her grandchildren in sports activities. She retired in 1982 as a home economics teacher with twenty-two years of service with East Allen County Schools. She started her teaching career in 1944 and had previously taught at Monroeville High School and Garrett High School. Surviving are her son, Howard E. (Sara) Faulstick of Monroeville, Indiana, son, John C. (Michele) Faulstick of Rootstown, Ohio, five grandchildren; Dustin, Ben, Courtney, Andrew & Erin Faulstick and nieces; Fay Russell, Jane Bisbee, Sue (Victor) Contri & Melody Reese. Preceding Beulah in death were two sisters, Eleanor Feuerbach and Mary Eva Johns (infant). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009 in the Monroeville United Methodist Church with Rev. Denise Lapsley officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 13 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to Monroeville United Methodist Church, American Diabetes Association or Parkview Hospice.
