Ruth Jane Mills, 81 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2006 in the Woodcrest Nursing Center in Decatur, Indiana. Ruth was born on July 23, 1924 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles Cramer and the late Mary (Kreigh) Cramer. She married the late Raymond A. Mills on January 8, 1942 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and he passed away on March 25, 2000. Ruth was a member of American Legion Auxillary in Decatur, Indiana, and she was also a homemaker. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Larry (Carol) Kensill of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. John (Jane) Hunter of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Brenda Mills of Wilmington, North Carolina, daughter, Linda Adams of Muncie, Indiana, brother, Robert Cramer of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Louise Gable of Middletown, Ohio, sister, Virginia Kessler of Middletown, Ohio, sister, Evangeline Axson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Cramer; one brother, Harold Bryant; and one grandson, Faron Williamson. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Woodrcrest Nursing Center.
