Mildred Florine Snyder, 87 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 5:25 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Indiana. Florine was born on Monday, March 20, 1922 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late Arlie D. Bollinger and the late Pearl (May) Bollinger. Florine attended Decatur Church of God. Florine was employed in dietary at Adams Memorial Hospital for 27 years. Surviving are her daughter, Evelyn D. McDermott of Decatur, Indiana; son, James A. (Karen)Snyder of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Joan Meyer of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Mary B. Brune of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Royal Bollinger of Tavares, Florida; brother, Ralph Bollinger of Decatur, Indiana; sister, Helen K. Adams of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Preceding Florine in death were one son, Waldo Lee Snyder in 1963; former husband, Wilson Bill Snyder in 2001. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2010 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Brink officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and on Friday from 9:00 -10:00 a.m. at the Woodcrest Porter Auditorium. Preferred memorials are to Decatur Church of God.
