William T. "Bill" North

William T. "Bill" North, 83 years old of Hoagland, Indiana, passed away at 10:12 a.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2009 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Indiana. He was born on Tuesday, October 5, 1926 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana the son of the late Loren North and the late Margaret (Davies) North. He married Shirley A. Youse on October 26, 1952 in Hoagland, Indiana and she survives. Bill was an active member of the Antioch Lutheran Church in Hoagland, Indiana; and treasurer of the church for many years. In his earlier years, he was active in Scouting; the Full Gospel Business News; and the Hoagland Area Advancement Association. Bill served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bill was an electrician at International Harvester in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for 37 years, retiring in 1981. Surviving are his wife, Shirley A. North of Hoagland, Indiana; son, Thomas (Sandra) North of Roswell, Georgia; son, Timothy North of Hoagland, Indiana; son, Terry North (Mary Ann Pearsall) of Florham Park, New Jersey; daughter, Tina (Douglas) Bulmahn of Churubusco, Indiana; sister, Esther Boroff of Odessa, Texas; sister, Jean Kinsey of Pompano Beach, Florida; sister, Vivian (Dale) Brown of Poe, Indiana; and six grandchildren: Joshua, Matthew, Jamie, Anna, Emma, and Amalia. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 NOON Saturday, January 9, 2010 in the Antioch Lutheran Church with Kris Madsen officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Lutheran Cemetery, Hoagland, Indiana. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 NOON Saturday, January 9, 2010 in the Antioch Lutheran Church, Hoagland, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Antioch Lutheran Church.
