William J. Roussey, 61 years old of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at his sister's residence located in Monroeville, Indiana following a six week illness. William was born on Tuesday, December 10, 1946 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of the late Bernard J. Roussey and the late Charlotte L. (Clay) Roussey. He was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School Class of 1965. William was a receiving clerk at Water Furnace International and had previously worked at Phelps Dodge Corporation. Bill enjoyed playing golf, sports, collecting glass and going to auctions. He leaves with wonderful memories of his family. Surviving are his sister, Yvonne L. & brother-in-law Gary Wills of Monroeville, Indiana, sister-in-law, Margaret "Peg" Roussey of Fort Wayne, Indiana,five nieces and six nephews. Preceding William in death was one brother, Robert Roussey and one nephew, Tim Roussey. There will be a Prayer Service at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville with Father Stephen Colchin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery - Besancon, New Haven, Indiana. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. A Rosary will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday following visitation. Preferred memorials are to Masses, Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or the Monroeville EMS.
