Glenn F. Reynolds, 89 years old of Hoagland, Indiana, passed away at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2008 in the St. Joseph Hospital located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Glenn was born on Friday, October 25, 1918 in Allen County, Indiana the son of the late Dwight M. Reynolds and the late Lula B. (Ruhl) Reynolds. He married Lorine Kleine on April 12, 1941 in St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen parsonage, and she survives. Glenn was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock in rural Monroeville, Indiana. Glenn also belonged to the Fort Wayne Umpire Association and had been a high school basketball and baseball official. Glenn was a lifelong farmer; East Allen County School bus driver for 30 years; worked at the Reynolds Supply Store for 25 years; Common Wealth Insurance salesman for 5 years; and was a former Tool & Die Maker at General Electric. Glenn was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Howard Reynolds. Surviving are his wife, Lorine Reynolds of Hoagland, Indiana, son, Gene H. Reynolds and (Brenda Burkett) of Decatur, Indiana; son, Dale E. Reynolds of Algonquin, Illinois; son, Kenn A. (Jeannie) Reynolds of Spring Hill, Florida; daughter, Joyce F. (Jeffrey) Paul of Sammamish, Washington; daughter, Kay J. (Gregg) Kiess of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; sister, Deanna Smith of Charleston, Illinois; eleven grandchildren: Ritch Reynolds, Gina Bagizian, Nichole Reynolds, Ryan Reynolds, Trent Reynolds, Casey Paul, Nathan Paul, Amy Paul, Cody Kiess, Zachary Kiess, and Nicholas Kiess; and 6 great-grandchildren: Hailey Reynolds, Cecilia Reynolds, Isabella Reynolds, Benjamin Bagizian, Owen Bagizian, and Maizy Reynolds. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 in the St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock with Pastor Douglas Christian officiating. Interment will follow in the St John Lutheran Church Cemetery, Flatrock. Friends will be received from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana; and one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday. Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church, Flatrock; or the Hoagland EMS.
