Glen R. Isch, 90 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on Monday, July 16, 1917 in Adams County, Indiana the son of the late Joe R. Isch and the late Minnie (Aeschliman) Isch. He married Katheryn G. Burke on June 30, 1943 in Wells County, Indiana. Glen was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. He retired as a foreman for Decatur Industries after 23 years of service and was also a farmer. Surviving are his wife, Katheryn G. Isch of Decatur, Indiana, son, Steven (Nancy) Isch of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Lucille Fraughiger of Bluffton, Indiana, sister, Mrs. Edward (Viola) Gerber of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, sister, Mrs. John (Irene) Neuenschwander of Bluffton, Indiana, sister, Mrs. William (Betty) Longenberger of Bluffton, Indiana, brother, Hubert Isch of Bluffton, Indiana, brother, Kenneth Isch of Berne, Indiana, grandson, Scott (Carol) Isch of Decatur, Indiana, grandson, Shawn Isch of Decatur, Indiana, granddaughter, Mrs. Victor (Stephanie) Canales of Decatur, Indiana, grandson, Seth (Rhonda) Isch of Decatur, Indiana, and six great-grandchildren; Amber Isch, Zachary Isch, Natalie Young, Annie Isch, Drexel Canales and Carson Canales all of Decatur, Indiana. Preceding Glen in death were one son, Thomas Isch in 1972, two brothers, Ervin & Alvin Isch and one sister, Mildred Krill. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Robert McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 5 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to the Adams County Community Foundation Angel Fund - Cancer.
