Pearl G. (Heckler) Bearman, 95 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in the Village of Heritage located in Monroeville, Indiana. Pearl was born on November 15, 1911 in Allen County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Christian Heckler and the late Mary (Shaffer) Heckler. She married the late Elmer F. Bearman on May 31, 1930 in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Monroeville, Indiana and he passed away on August 15, 1989. Pearl was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Monroeville, Indiana. Pearl was a nurse's aide at Lutheran Hospital and Lutheran Homes for 12 years and was also a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Lynn F. (Jean) Bearman of Monroeville, Indiana, son, Ned S. (Barb) Bearman of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, son, Rev. Dean R. (Laura) Bearman of Big Long Lake, Indiana, son, Todd L. (Betty) Bearman of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Steve (Mary A.) Drews-Bruick of Hoagland, Indiana, nineteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Pearl in death were seven brothers; four sisters; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Drews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 in the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Monroeville, Indiana with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2007 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel in Monroeville, Indiana and from 12:00 NOON - 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
