Lois D. Everett, 77 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 1:53 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the Adams Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. She was stricken at home and her death was unexpected. Lois was born on November 29, 1929 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of the late Albert Buuck and the late Corena (Bultemeyer) Buuck. She married Daniel Everett on September 12, 1948 in Zion Lutheran Church, Friedheim; and he survives. They were married for 58 years. Lois was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen. Lois was a graduate of Monmouth High School Class of 1948 and was a longtime bowler for the Coffee League in Decatur, Indiana. Lois retired in 1994 from Central Soya Corporation with 25 years of service as a payroll clerk. Surviving are her husband, Daniel Everett of Decatur, Indiana, son, Nicholas (Denise) Everett of Decatur, Indiana, son, Mark (Kendra) Everett of Decatur, Indiana, son, Steven Everett of Decatur, Indiana, daughter, Vickie (Mark) Gallmeyer of Decatur, Indiana, brother, Thomas (Marvene) Buuck of Decatur, Indiana, five grandchildren: Erin Everett, Melissa Everett, Matthew Everett, Clinton Everett, and Lucas Everett; one great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Everett. Preceding Lois in death was one sister, Patricia Buuck. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007 in the St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen with Rev. Thomas Olson officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Bingen, in rural Decatur, Indiana. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Preferred memorials are to the St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen or Worship for Shut-Ins.
