Gary B. Moore, 60 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 in the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Gary was born on January 19, 1945 in Lima, Ohio the son of the late Kermit E. Moore and the late Helen A. (Sullivan) Moore. Gary was a former member of the E.U.B. Church in St. Mary's, Ohio. He was also a member of the Decatur Bass Masters. Gary served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Gary had been employed by SB3 Precision Machines as a machinist and had retired from General Electric of Decatur in 1991 with 24 years of service. Surviving are his Son & Daughter-in-Law, Jeff & Ronda Moore of St. Mary's, Ohio; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Kevin & Sheila Moore of Bluffton, Indiana; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Donald & Karen Moore of Hobart, Indiana; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Christa (Moore) & Jason Riley of Bluffton, Indiana; nine granddaughters: Karissa, Erica, Tasha, Ashley, Alyshia, and Kylee Moore, Kaytlin Hart, Karadyn Riley, Karissa Kopach; and three grandsons: Ked & Christopher Moore, and Kaleb Riley. Gary was preceded in death by one son, Gregory C. Moore in 1990; and one half-brother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with the Rev. Heather Bunnell officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. Military Graveside Honors by the American Legion Post #43 Color Guard. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to the Adams County Community Foundation-Cancer Fund.
