Mildred L. Bleeke, 95 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at her residence. Mildred was born on Thursday, July 15, 1917 in Adams County, Indiana the daughter of the late William Weber and the late Sophie (Bieberich) Weber. She married the late Edward G. Bleeke on December 9, 1939 and he passed away September 3, 1997. Mildred was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Decatur. She was also a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Kenneth W. (Rosi) Bleeke of Hoagland, IN; grandson, Gregory (Isabel) Kentel of Mesa, AZ; grandson, John-David K. (Carrie) Bleeke of Leo, IN; granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Bleeke of Bluffton, IN; nine great-grandchildren: Zoe Kentel, Courtney Williams, Jasmine Kentel, Paola Kentel, Eduardo Kentel, Andrew Kentel, Weston Bleeke, Sawyer Bleeke, and Clayton Bleeke. Preceding Mildred in death were daughter and son-in-law, Barbara J. (Rev. Clifford) Kentel; four sisters: Wilma Busche, Martha Becker, Helen Erxleben, Irene Thieme; three brothers: Robert Weber, Clarence Weber, and one in infancy; one grandson: Matthew Kentel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Pastor David Koeneman officiating. Interment will follow in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, Indiana and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Preferred memorials are to Worship For Shut-Ins; ABLAZE-Indiana District Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
