Norine June Long, 81 years old of Bryan, Ohio and formerly of rural Convoy, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in the Bryan Care & Rehab Center. She was born on Thursday, July 14, 1927 in Adams, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Leland Leithauser and the late Gertrude (Krutsch) Leithauser. She was married to Glenn Long and he passed away on December 18, 1974. Norine was a homemaker and a former member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Monroeville. She was formerly employed at Leisure Oaks Nursing Home in Defiance, Ohio. Surviving are her son, Len Long of Rio, West Virginia, son, Tony Long of Bryan, Ohio, two sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Charlene) Gremaux and Mrs. Nolan (Glenna) Mekus, brother, Edward Leithauser, grandson, Noah Long, two granddaughters, Amanda Patterson and Summer Klinger and two great-grandchildren. Preceding Norine in death were one sister, Delores Brady and one brother, Thomas Leithauser. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel with Father Stephen Colchin officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville, Indiana. Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 20 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chape, Monroeville.
