Charles William "Bill" Cox, 60 years old of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at his residence following a fight with cancer for over one year. He was born on Tuesday, March 8, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of the late Paul Cox and the late Eleanor Cox. He was united in marriage to Marcia S.L. Pinkerton on February 14, 2000. He was self-employed and most recently had been employed by Wal-Mart in Decatur. Surviving are his wife, Marcia Cox of Decatur, son, Michael Cox of Decatur,son, Marc (Sabrina) Cox of Decatur, step-son, Justin (Brie) Brown of Fort Wayne, three brothers, two sisters and five grandchildren; Makenzie Cox, Caden Cox, Rialey Cox, Caleb Brown & Taylor Brown. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 28 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to Adams County Community Foundation -Cancer Fund or Adams County Diabetes Connection.
