Okaleah M. Fuelling, 86 years old of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006 in the Adams Memorial Hospital located in Decatur, Indiana following a brief illness. She was born on Monday, July 26, 1920 in Van Wert County, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter G. Stetler and the late Daisy Pearl (August) Stetler. She was married to the late Edgar C. Fuelling on December 3, 1954 and he passed away on August 17, 1997. Okaleah retired in 1985 from General Electric in Decatur, Indiana with 42 years of service. After her retirement, she and her sister, Annie, would volunteer to bake cookies and cakes for different groups. Surviving are her son, Edgar E. (Lynne) Fuelling of Celina, Ohio, two nieces raised by Okaleah, Vendetta (Craig) Gutshall of Huntington, Indiana and Mary (Ron) Manley of Decatur, Indiana, sister, Rosalie Young of Willshire, Ohio, sister, Anita Sovine of Pleasant Mills, Indiana, and four grandchildren, Colin, Jared, Lauren and Kirsten Fuelling. Preceding Okaleah in death were three sisters, Maxine Huffman, Mary Lou Suman & Imogene Stetler and three brothers, Eugene Stetler, who was killed in WWII, Charles "Chub" Stetler & Jack Stetler. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 21, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow in the St Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Fuelling. Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling, Praise Point United Brethren Church, Willshire or the donor's choice.
