Margaret E. McCaulley Wagner, 69, of Decatur, died at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Woodcrest Nursing Center following an illness of several months. Margaret was born on April 8, 1938 in Bellwood, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Margaret E. (Markle) McCaulley. Both of her parents precede her in death. She later met Richard A. Wagner and they were married on March 5, 1954 in Altoona, Pennsylvania and he survives. Margaret was a member of the St. Marks United Methodist Church, Decatur. She was a homemaker and was also a short order cook for Cherokee Drive-In in Louisiana for 15 years. Margaret is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard A. Wagner of Decatur, Indiana; 2 daughters: Karen Forster of Decatur, Indiana and Penny (Brian) Henkenius of Decatur, Indiana; a sister, Irene Shaw of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania; and 7 grandchildren, Brianna, Chelsea, Andrea & Dustin Henkenius; Brian Forster; Jason & Allen Coleman. Margaret was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Wagner, eight brothers, and five sisters. A memorial service for Margaret will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2007, in the St. Marks United Methodist Church, Decatur with Rev. Jeff Taylor officiating. Friends and family will be received 1 hour prior to services on Thursday in the church. Burial will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. Preferred memorials for Margaret would include the A.C.C.F.- Cancer Fund, St. Marks United Methodist Church or St. Joseph Catholic School
