Delmar Fred Troyer, 93 years old of Seymour, Tennessee, a former lifelong resident of the Monroeville, Indiana area, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2006 at his residence in Seymour, Tennessee. Delmar was born on September 21, 1913 in Monroeville, Indiana, the son of the late Olympus J. Troyer and the late Edna (Slonaker) Troyer. He married the late Luella May Brokaw-Troyer and she passed away July 4, 2003. Delmar was retired from farming. Surviving are his daughter, Janice A. (Steven) Kaiser of Seymour, Tennessee, five grandchildren: Melinda (Jim) Thronton, Chad (Regina) Kaiser, Matthew (Sarah) Kaiser, Andrew Kaiser, Jeffery Daiser and three great-grandchildren: Wendell Thornton, Mackenzie Thornton, and Leslie Kaiser. Preceding Delmar in death were two sisters, Esther DeVoe, Lucille Fiedler; and three brothers, Harold, Cecil, and Ivan Troyer. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2006 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana with Jim Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Indiana. Friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2006 in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to Monroeville EMS or Monroeville Fire Dept.
